FC Bayern have officially begun preparations for the upcoming Bundesliga showdown against Borussia Dortmund, with several young prospects joining the first training session of the week.

Training resumes in Munich

The first training session ahead of the weekend’s Der Klassiker took place today at Säbener Straße. Head coach Thomas Tuchel worked with the non-international players and a group of promising youngsters including Lennart Karl, Wisdom Mike, Jussef Nasrawe, Bogdan Olychenko, and Noah Codjo-Evora.

Notable absence: Raphaël Guerreiro

Left-back Raphaël Guerreiro was not part of today’s training group. Bayern will be hoping to have him available later this week as preparations intensify for the crucial Bundesliga encounter against Borussia Dortmund.

Focus on young energy

With many senior players still on international duty, Tuchel used the opportunity to give academy players valuable first-team exposure. This continues Bayern’s recent trend of integrating young talent into the main squad during international breaks.

Eyes on Der Klassiker

Bayern will face Borussia Dortmund this weekend in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the Bundesliga calendar. The match promises to test the depth and readiness of the squad as they look to maintain their momentum in the league.
